Pastoral Ring of Saint John Paul II from the Vatican II Council. This episcopal jewel, an open wide 18-karat gold band, is the fisherman's ring that was gifted to the bishops at the conclusion of the Second Vatican Council on December 8, 1965. This rare jewel is one of the rings produced by the Italian artist Henrico Manfreni in first‑rate gold (750) for the notable 2,800 bishops from around the world (116 different countries) who attended the council.

This authentic piece bears the image of Jesus at its center with his two witnesses Peter and Paul beside Him.

The ring has been worn at major events but remains in good condition. Its box has not withstood the years but it comes in a similar and elegant light burgundy case.

Material: 18‑carat yellow gold (NB: Not polished!!! This is an antique piece for collectors)
