Makayhos - [Canvas] Medusa Marble – Gilded Silence

The work depicts a sculpted figure inspired by Medusa, emerging from a marble surface structured in a high-relief conceptual style. The face is carved with classical precision, while the serpents intertwined in the hair unfold along the surface with a fluid and enveloping movement, creating a constant dialogue between organic form and stone matter.

The canvas is two-dimensional (2D), completely frameless, but designed to generate a strong three-dimensional visual effect. The 3D illusion arises from the stratification of the sculpted volumes, deep shadows, and the rendering of the marble surfaces.
