Collection of 15 glass display perfume bottles, made in France, dating from 1934 to 2002, with most pieces from the 1990s.
Description from the seller
Collection 15 factices of perfumes only from major French couture houses (DIOR, CHANEL, J.-P. GAULTIER, YVES SAINT LAURENT, LANVIN, SONIA RYKIEL...) for 12 of them or, at a minimum, from premium brands in their sector for the other 3 (Lalique, Lancôme, S. Dali).
These are original display flacons in store size, thus in the scale of bottles sold in perfumeries, from 50 to 200 ml.
They are all in very good condition, clean, the glass bright, without chips or scratches, typography clear, without abrasion or fading. Small flaws on 2 or 3 of them will be specifically noted.
All contemporary, except Lanvin's "Rumeur" which was launched in 1934.
Each bottle is photographed individually in close-up.
DETAIL:
- BOUCHERON Jaipur - launched in 1994 - with a design evoking a precious jewel and a sapphire blue cabochon-shaped stopper.
- CHANEL Allure 1996 (not fully filled, it is original), cord wrapped around the sealed cap and a round Chanel wax seal or plastic with the two interlaced Cs.
- DIOR Eau Sauvage 1966, here in a 1998 special edition: large 200 ml flask-type bottle in chrome-like glass with diagonal striations. A slight ding at the top of the cap (photo).
- GAULTIER: two iconic busts.
The Man (1995) is in perfect condition, zero defects.
The frosted glass (fragile material) of the Woman (1993 perfume "Classique") shows light traces of felting in places, hardly visible, not gashes!
- LALIQUE: sculptural bottle by the famous glassmaker. Factice of the eponymous perfume "Lalique" released in 1992.
- LANCÔME Miracle 2000: liquid pale azalea pink, a very pretty decorative object.
- LANVIN Rumeur: superb classic and timeless form for this large bottle with clean lines and a cap stamped with the Jeanne Lanvin emblem. 1934.
- PATOU Ma Liberté 1987. Simple design. It is the tallest bottle in the set (20 cm).
- ROCHAS Absolu 2002: rounded silhouette and black lacquered cap. Compact and feminine at once.
- ROCHAS Fleur d'eau 1996: a very worked bottle, silhouette of a woman "seaweed" with one side of the bottle glossy and the opposite side frosted sculpted in relief.
- ROCHAS Globe (for men) 1990, symbolic engraving around travel.
- SONIA RYKIEL named "Le parfum", simply, released in 1993. The gold metal cap is pitted on its top face. See photo.
- SAINT LAURENT Paris Baby Doll 1999 - very original bottle in the shape of a top. Subtle pink juice in a faceted glass.
- SALVADOR DALI for men 1987 (French company Cofinluxe): 1987, pear-shaped silhouette and a recognisable cap shaped like a mouth.
