Description from the seller
Beautiful 1965 Harley-Davidson M65S Panhead 1200
Bodywork and Paint:
The Harley's paint is in very nice condition, very attractive in color and striking to the eye. A really nice snapshot of how the Harley was 'pimped' back in the day.
The chrome work is in decent condition but does show signs of use; see the photos. As with the seat, which also looks very good with period-correct fringe and baubles.
The tank is in very good condition with no dents or rust; it was treated at the time.
HISTORY:
This motorcycle was originally a police motorcycle for the city of Edmonton.
Later it became the property of a member of the Alberta motorcycle club "King’s Crew". This motorcycle club joined the Hells Angels in the late 1990s.
During that period the motorcycle was modified with:
New aftermarket cylinders: Stroker kit --> 1200 cc
A new carburetor
At that time the odometer was reset to zero.
The odometer currently reads 182 miles, which is likely the number of miles ridden since the modifications.
TECHNICAL CONDITION:
This Harley is technically in very good condition; it has recently been thoroughly checked and serviced by a motorcycle specialist.
Major service: equipped with new oils and fluids. Also fitted with new tires with the correct dual whitewall.
All brakes have been checked and replaced where necessary. A new battery has also been fitted and all electrical systems inspected and replaced where needed; it already has a 12V conversion.
See the invoice for all works totaling €1600.
This Harley Panhead runs and rides very well.
DOCUMENTATION:
The Harley is equipped with its original Canadian title, import documents, and the invoice for works.
It can, after purchase, be registered by our company for a Dutch license plate, giving it immediate European approval.

Request help with registration from a third-party service provider.Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
