Historic work by Romano Mussolini, oil on canvas 40x50 cm, featuring the fantastical representation of "Solitude," a piece with beautiful colors and an atmosphere typical of the master's painting. The work is stamped with authentic period d'arte Roma studio stamps and seals on the back. On the rear there is a second signature "Mussolini".

Romano, son of Benito Mussolini and Donna Rachele, was born in Forlì on September 26, 1927.
The son of the Duce's passion for painting began in 1945, when in Naples, under the capable guidance of painters Corrura and Terraccini, he started painting, achieving for his works, Romano Mussolini, flattering results and assertions in the national and international artistic fields.
Romano Mussolini, a versatile artist, works with great seriousness, plays, composes jazz music, writes, but his fixed idea remains painting, as evidenced by the interest with which he creates his works.
In his paintings, Romano Mussolini depicts landscapes, still lifes, the abstract dream of the past, his dearest memories, the faces of beautiful women, his clowns, the dancers of the seventies, the gypsy scenes, the Venice carnivals.
The continual search for new settings is the charm, color, and reality of Romano Mussolini Painter’s palette.
