Dish (3) - art pewter - Trittico

Refined lot composed of a triptych (3 pieces) of large under-plates (or parade plates) with an octagonal shape, made in fine high-purity art pewter. The items echo the classic and elegant style of European antique tableware, characterized by a splendid satin finish and a surface that reflects the typical warm, artisanal workmanship.

This lot stands out for the extraordinary completeness of its original service, a detail of extreme rarity for collectors:
The back of each plate preserves the original paper label from the historic art workshop at Via Roma 69 in Bormio (Sondrio, Valtellina), bearing the official heraldic emblem of the municipality. Under the label there is, to the touch, another stamp impressed in the metal.

Included are the 2 original protective cases in burgundy cloth/velvet, one branded with the oval logo of the foundry ("S T" above the stylized drawing of the three mountain peaks of the Valtellina).

Punching and Certifications:
The back of each individual piece bears the official European guarantee stamps hot-stamped into the metal:
Shield with the inscription "Sn 95% ETAIN": certifies a superior-quality alloy composed of 95% pure tin, completely lead-free and suitable for food use.
Oval stamp with initials "S T" and leaf: registered trademark of the original artistic foundry.
Historic ornamental workshop stamps (including the classic angel/owl symbol of pewter quality).

Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. The items show the normal and beautiful patina of time with very slight and negligible surface scratches from cleaning, which enhance their charm and authenticity. The labels and bags are well preserved, a sign of purely display and ornamental use within a private collection.
