Elegant silver 800 walking cane, antique - Germany, late 19th / early 20th century (L. 87 cm)
Description:
In this auction a splendid and elegant antique item (total length 87 cm), characterized by refined craftsmanship in silver.
The shaft and details reflect the artisanal craftsmanship of the period. On the silver are clearly visible the official marks of the German state from the late nineteenth century: the hallmark "800" guaranteeing the purity of the metal, accompanied by the famous imperial mark of the crescent and crown (Halbmond und Krone), officially introduced starting from 1888.

Epoch: Late 19th - early 20th century (post-1888)
Punzonatura: 800, Crescent and Crown
Length: 87 cm
Condition: Excellent vintage condition, with a beautiful natural patina that testifies to its authenticity and age. Splendid collectible piece or superb conversation piece.
