Description from the seller
Edradour 2003 PTM – 14 Years Old (Single Cask #149)
A rare single cask gem with a legendary Port Ellen connection
This is an exceptional opportunity for collectors and connoisseurs of unique single malts. This 14-year-old Edradour is part of the distillery's highly sought-after and innovative PTM (Peated Through Maturation) series.
What truly makes this bottle a masterpiece is its fascinating maturation process: the spirit itself was distilled from completely unpeated malted barley. However, over its 14-year maturation, the whisky absorbed its subtle, complex smokiness and medicinal character entirely from a single Hogshead that previously contained single malt from the legendary, closed cult distillery Port Ellen.
Selected and bottled under the supervision of Andrew Symington (owner of Signatory Vintage and Edradour), with an extremely limited outturn of only 193 bottles worldwide. This is distillery exclusivity at its finest.
