Historical notes
Founded in Dublin in 1865, Peterson is one of the world’s most important historic pipe makers. The famous “Peterson System Pipe,” patented at the end of the 19th century, revolutionized pipe smoking by delivering a cooler, drier smoke.
The versions with sterling silver mounts have always represented the most elegant and collectible tier of Peterson’s production.
