HISTORICAL DESCRIPTION
The series “Per Aspera ad Astra” represents one of the most appreciated historic lines of the Italian craftsmanship Ser Jacopo, founded in Pesaro by Giancarlo Guidi in the 1980s.
The Latin motto Per Aspera ad Astra (“through hardships to the stars”) identifies a mid-to-upper range artisanal production, fully handmade, with particular attention to the choice of burl wood and the balance of classic English shapes reinterpretated in Italian style.
The specimen shown presents an elegant billiard shape slightly inclined, with very harmonious proportions, with a natural smooth finish that highlights a beautiful vertical grain of the burl wood.
The L1 classification indicates a superior quality level in burl wood selection and workmanship.
