Manifesto of the National Fascist Party with the party's original stamp affixed on Mussolini's signature dated July 1, 1938 and with the location Medeuzza, very rare. On the back, the official stamp of the Regie Poste, Prefect of Udine. Original and rare document. The Campaign against Turpiloquio (1938). Towards the end of the 1930s, the National Fascist Party (P.N.F.) launched a series of puritanical and disciplinary crusades aimed at regulating citizens' daily behaviors. The regime regarded blasphemy and swearing not only as a religious sin, but as signs of moral weakness, incivility and indiscipline, incompatible with the ideal of the strong, virile, upright Italian that Mussolini intended to shape. Signs like this were mandatorily affixed by decree of the prefect or local authorities inside taverns, bars, public offices and recreational clubs.
