Fragment of the NWA 869 meteorite weighing 4.23 grams, set in silver metal and suspended on a modern 925 silver cable chain.

This meteorite is an ordinary chondrite of petrological type L3-6, the chondrules have been thermally deformed. It was discovered in the year 2000 in the Tindouf region of Algeria.

Customs duties outside the EU will be borne by the auction winner.
