Authentic French vintage ceramic box.
Very decorative and representative of the Art Deco style.
On the bottom the blind mark SC (from St. Clément), France, 5164, B.LETALLE
On the side of the box a sticker from St. Clément Céramique d'art.

Executed in green glaze with striking gold details, this object was originally made as a cookie tin.
Very good vintage condition with small wear to the gold details, appropriate for its age.
Minimal restored damage to the handle.

Dimensions: 19 x 12 x 15 cm. (height including handle)

Saint-Clément earthenware is a beautiful example of early 20th-century French ceramics.
Such pieces were mainly produced during the factory's heyday in the 1930s/40s.
