Štěpán Tabery - Table lamp - Opal glass

An iconic Mid-Century Modern retro table lamp designed by the famous Czechoslovak designer Štěpán Tabery in the 1970s.

The lamp is crafted from cased opal glass featuring a vibrant red color gradient and a white geometric pattern. It produces a beautiful, warm, ambient glow when lit.

This is a very rare piece, which differs from other Tabery pieces in its uniqueness.



Condition: The lamp is in heavily used vintage condition with noticeable signs of age and wear. Please note the following technical and cosmetic details:

The bottom nut holding the base together has been replaced, is likely non-original, and if not fully tightened, the lamp feels slightly wobbly. The internal bulb socket sits tilted, causing the light bulb to look a bit crooked. Despite the heavy vintage wear and these imperfections, the lamp remains fully functional and still makes a striking visual statement.
