Large Scheurich ceramic floor vase, West Germany West German Pottery era 1960s–1970s, model 486-38, with a Fat Lava glaze in warm yellow, orange and brown tones, height about 38 cm, widest diameter about 28 cm, width with handle about 32 cm, opening diameter about 11 cm, weight 3.5 kg, in good used condition with very minor interior glaze flaw not visible from the outside.

**Large Scheurich Ceramic Vase / Handle Vase – West Germany Pottery – Model 486-38**
Beautiful large ceramic vase or handle vase from **Scheurich Keramik** from the popular **West Germany Pottery** era of the 1960s to 1970s.
The vase impresses with its expressive, glossy lava glaze in warm yellow, orange, and brown tones, as well as its distinctive form with decorative handle. It is a typical example of Scheurich's timeless design and a true eye-catcher for vintage, mid-century, and retro interiors.
The original bottom mark **“W. Germany 486-38”** indicates West German manufacture. The number 38 denotes the height of the vase.

- Very good vintage condition
- No cracks or repairs
- Beautiful, glossy glaze
- Please note: On the inside of the rim there is a tiny chip or minimal glaze defect. It is very unobtrusive, not visible from the outside, and does not affect the appearance or function of the vase (see detail photo 11).
