Description from the seller
The Kalasha is considered a symbol of abundance and a “source of life” in the Vedas. It is called the “full vase overflowing” in the Vedas. The Kalasha would contain Amrita, the elixir of life, and is therefore regarded as a symbol of abundance, wisdom, and immortality.
The four faces of Brahma seem to face north, south, east, and west.
He sits on a pedestal decorated with the lotus leaf, with his left foot resting on a lotus flower. The lotus represents the attainment of Enlightenment and the ultimate fulfillment that follows. This symbol is heavily used in Eastern religions, which is why it may appear both as an object being held and as a seat. Some say that when the lotus flower grows in dirty water yet becomes something beautiful, it shows how we must forget our attachments to the material world around us and focus on our inner spirituality to seek happiness.
The casting is magnificent as you can see in the beautiful details of the face and hands. Each detail is perfectly rendered. In a seemingly traditional appearance, the sculpture will bring serenity and timeless style to your home, your office, or your sacred space.
