Description from the seller
Original promotional manifesto for Circus Carrington, dedicated to one of the most spectacular numbers in circus tradition: the fakir.
The illustration depicts an artist in orientalizing attire, body pierced by numerous needles and metal points, surrounded by a crowd of spectators and framed by a lively graphic decoration in vivid colors. The composition evokes the psychedelic and pop aesthetics typical of European circus graphics from the seventies.
Decorative manifesto with a strong visual impact, representative of the advertising communication of European circuses in the mid-20th century.
