Description from the seller
NOS New Old Stock ballpoint pens, complete with original tag and equipped with a new blue refill.
Produced in Italy between the late 1980s and early 2000s, they belong to the generation of writing instruments characterized by turned metal bodies, wear-resistant finishes, and internal mechanisms designed for heavy use.
- Type: Ballpoint pens
- Activation system: Twist mechanism with internal metal cam
- Body material: Metal alloy (aluminum or brass, depending on model), with satin or plated finish
- Clip: Metal stamped clip, with engraving or corporate logo
- Barrel: Turned and finished with anti-oxidation protective treatment
- Refill: European standard type Parker G2, blue color, new and functional
- Length: 130–140 mm (professional standard)
- Weight: Balanced for long writing sessions (approximately 18–25 g)
- Condition: Never used, no signs of tampering, original tag present
Italian pens from this period are distinguished by:
- Use of turned brass or light alloys with high mechanical resistance
- Twist mechanisms with internal steel spring, more durable than snap systems
- Functional design, aimed at the professional and corporate market
- Standardization of the G2 refill, still compatible today and readily available
These models represent a transitional phase between artisanal and high-quality industrial production, making them particularly interesting for collectors.
- NOS condition, extremely rare to find
- Presence of original tag, key element for traceability
- Internally complete mechanics
- Italian production from the late ’90s, now out of catalog
- Ideal for thematic collections on: Italian pens, professional writing instruments, 1980s–2000s design
