This original vintage poster from famous German painter Konrad Klapcheck is extremely rare. It is a. « Épreuve d’Artiste », i.e a pre- serial production release. It is dedicated, dated and hand-signed by the artist « a Christian et Claude, cette épreuve d’artiste tirée aujourd’hui même 10 novembre 1982 Konrad Klapcheck ».

Beginning in 1900, the Davis Cup, regarded as the "World Cup" of tennis, is an annual knock out event held around the world. The premier international team event in mens tennis, the Davis Cup in 1983 was held in Melbourne, Australia and won by Australia who defeated Sweden in the final.
