This diverse ensemble showcases the evolution of decorative hardware design throughout the mid-20th century and offers exceptional appeal for restoration projects, collectors, and lovers of French decorative arts.
The lot includes a variety of pieces crafted in brass, gilt metal, porcelain, and wood. Particularly noteworthy are the richly textured gilt-brass backplates with Art Deco and classical ornamental influences, alongside elegant porcelain-mounted elements bearing the “Modèle Déposé” mark. A brass component stamped “TB Lyon” further attests to the French origin and authenticity of part of the collection.
