In the foreground is a meadow painted with loose, impasto brushwork; in the mid-ground poppies glow at the field edge. The composition is balanced, with a clear horizon line and atmospheric depth. The painting technique is naturalistic, with noticeable texture in the foliage and ground areas. The canvas is stretched on a plain stretcher; no labels or provenance notes on the back. Condition is good, no visible cracks or defects, minimal signs of aging on the frame. The signature 'Rich. Bödner' bottom right is in red and clearly legible.
