"Lorenzaccio" is a play written by Alfred de Musset in 1834. Mucha created a poster for the production of "Lorenzaccio" in 1896, performed at Théâtre de la Renaissance in Paris. This poster is one of his most famous works. The poster features actress Sarah Bernhardt, one of the greatest actresses of the time, in the role of Lorenzaccio.
