Description from the seller
2 Scheurich ceramic vases "West Germany" – Models 575-25 and 507-25
Selling two original Scheurich ceramic vases from the West Germany era.
Model 575-25
* Height: 25 cm
* Opening diameter: approx. 10 cm
* Bottom diameter: approx. 8 cm
* Weight: approx. 1.2 kg
Model 507-25
* Height: 25 cm
* Opening diameter: approx. 6 cm
* Bottom diameter: approx. 6.5 cm
* Weight: approx. 1.1 kg
Both vases are in good used condition. Vase 575-25 has a small hairline crack inside. This is not visible from the outside and also not feelable. (See photo No. 7+8) Since the decor on both sides is identical, the vase can be positioned so that the flaw is not noticeable.
The interior of both vases is glazed in a beautiful, warm pale yellow, which provides an attractive contrast to the discreet exterior finish and looks especially nice with the larger opening.
Nice mid-century / vintage decor in the typical Scheurich-West-Germany design. The vases work well both individually and as a decorative pair.
