Description from the seller

Fortune Cornucopia signed Ottaviani in resin and silver*\n\n- Horn of plenty in the shape of a ram’s horn, a symbol of luck and prosperity. The base is in *resina color avorio* that imitates porcelain, with a glossy and soft surface.\n- The upper part and the tip are covered with *applicazioni in argento lavorato a sbalzo*. The floral decor is very rich: roses, buds and leaves relief, with very defined details. The silver has a polished finish that creates strong contrasts of light.\n- On the tip of the horn there is a red enameled ladybug with black spots, typical of Ottaviani. It is the classic good-luck charm that characterizes many of their collections.\n- Refined and augural. Ottaviani always combines the Italian tradition of silverware with modern and symbolic touches. This cornucopia is a decorative object\nconfezionato in scatola originale bianca rigida with the black logo *OTTAVIANI*, white satin interior that enhances the object.\nIt is a collectible piece: small in size but very scenographic thanks to the contrast between the ivory color of the resin, the shine of the silver and the bright red of the ladybug. The Cornucopia, from Latin "cornu copiae" meaning horn of plenty. In Greek mythology it is associated with Amaltea, the goat that fed Zeus, and with Heracles, who crossed the Acheloo river, giving the horn to the nymphs. An augural object that symbolizes wealth and abundance.
