Description from the seller

Pair of authentic hand-made porcelain plates signed Menotto Pimpinelli, master ceramist tied to the historic Deruta tradition (Umbria)
The plates are in excellent preserved condition despite dating to the 1950s-1960s.
The plates have been handed down through the years and kept by a private collector who is selling them.
They are both striking due to their substantial 30 cm diameter and can be used both decoratively and at the table.
The decorations, strictly polychrome, reflect the classical Renaissance Deruta tradition with the early influences of mid-20th-century modernism, and for this reason they are very contemporary.
