Very unique, original Victorian theatre programme from a Royal Command Performance of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, staged at Windsor Castle on Wednesday, 30 November 1859.

The programme features a handsome relief print (embossing), a decorative border, and the full cast list of the performance. A particularly collectible object at the intersection of British royal history, theatre history, and Shakespeare.

Framed and preserved. The document shows normal signs of aging consistent with its age of more than 165 years.
