Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
France-made D-Initial fountain pen in resin/polyester with gold plating, 14 cm long and 1.1 cm in diameter, in good used condition and fully functional.
Description from the seller
The fountain pen presents a very good overall condition, with careful aesthetics and a conservation level consistent with responsible use. The body in black lacquer maintains a deep, uniform shine, with very minor signs of use visible only up close, with no material loss or structural defects.
The gold elements (clip, central ring, and caps) retain an excellent appearance, with an intense and homogeneous shine, showing only minimal superficial marks typical of use and the passage of time, with no significant wear of the plating.
The cap closes properly by means of a pressure system, ensuring a firm and functional seal. The clip maintains its correct tension and alignment, without play.
The steel nib is in very good condition, clean and well aligned, with no deformations or visible damage. The feed has been inspected, guaranteeing proper ink flow and smooth, continuous writing.
The pen has been checked and serviced, being fully operational and ready for immediate use.
Maintenance recommendations
It is recommended to use quality fountain pen inks, avoiding pigmented inks. In case of prolonged non-use, rinse with warm water, dry completely before storage, and keep in a dry place, away from direct light and extreme temperatures. Always operate the mechanism gently to preserve its proper functioning.
It will be shipped in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
Happy bidding!
