French Lion Head Door Knocker – Bronze – ca. 1920 – In excellent condition – No reserve
An elegant antique French lion head door knocker, dating from around 1920. Crafted in solid bronze with a beautiful naturally aged verdigris patina, this striking architectural piece combines impressive craftsmanship with timeless French charm.
The finely cast lion’s head features expressive details and holds a heavy movable knocker ring. The mounting system has been fitted by me with two modern bolts, making it ready for immediate installation.
Dimensions: 23 x 12 x 6.5 cm (h x w x d)
Weight: approx. 950 g
Very good antique condition with minor age-related wear. The original patina has been preserved, enhancing its authentic character and decorative appeal. A true eye-catcher for any period home or collector of antique architectural fittings.
