Montblanc - John Lennon 1940 - Fountain pen

Montblanc Limited Edition John Lennon 1940 fountain pen full set.
Model produced in 2014 in a very limited edition, in homage to the great Beatles musician.
Body and cap in pale-cream lacquer with decorations and a clip (with a small stone inlaid) in 925 sterling silver.
The upper part of the pen is engraved with the date 02.10.1971 (release date of “Imagine”).
Serial no. 1048/1942.
Overall condition excellent, like new.
N.B. The metal plaque indicating the pen’s serial number inside the box has detached.
Piston filling mechanism is perfectly functioning.
Original 18k gold nib, medium point.
