This is a Lalique "Bluets" rectangular ashtray or jewelry box No. 236
It is a classic piece of French Art Deco glassware from 1952
The design consists of a matte motif of cornflowers ('bluets' in French) that contrasts with the polished, clear glass rim.

Small dish "Bluets"
The dish is signed Lalique, France and measures 13 x 10.5 cm

End of production was 1951, as described in Felix Marcilhac's catalog, p. 283 no. 335
