Ottaviani - Table lighter - Wood, Silverplate, .800 silver

Exclusive and refined table smoking service (or desk set) consisting of 4 coordinated pieces, produced by the historic Italian brand Ottaviani between the 1970s and 1980s. A perfect example of luxury vintage objets d'art for the living room, characterized by a geometric and dynamic design.

The set consists of:

Cigarette/Cigar Box: black lacquered wood construction, entirely clad with panels of hammered mirror.

Cover with Sculpture: the top of the box features a stepped base crowned by a detailed artistic sculpture depicting horses in motion.

Table Ashtray: square base coordinated with a circular inner receptacle in silvered metal (removable for easy cleaning).

Table Lighter: cylindrical body with a mirrored finish and a polished metal ignition mechanism at the top.

Stamping and Authenticity: On the base of the horses sculpture all factory marks are clearly visible and legible certifying authenticity (as shown in the photo): the engraved signature "OTTAVIANI", the deposited design mark [R], and the oval punch of laminated/galvanic silver.

Conditions: The item is in excellent overall vintage condition. It shows slight and normal signs of aging and surface patina on the silver that attest to its authenticity and era (if desired, it can be easily polished). The mirrors are intact and the set is structurally solid and complete in every part.
