Elegant and rare pair of busts depicting San Pietro and San Paolo, petrified marble stone, a smooth and compact material, not plaster nor stucco – therefore ideal even for outdoor display.

Both busts are mounted on refined marble bases in excellent condition. The sculptures show defined features and attention to detail, the work of an expert hand, probably an Italian sculptor active in the mid-20th century (approximate period: 1940s–1960s).
