Beautiful old 8-string mandolin bearing the signature “Rigaldi” on the soundboard. This instrument features an elegant drop-shaped body with a flat back, characteristic of some Italian and European productions from the mid-20th century. The top is spruce with a fine grain, simple rosette, and a wooden protective plate. The neck is fitted with the original tuners with yellow celluloid buttons.
The instrument retains a beautiful period patina and an authentic character. The two-tone black and brown back is a particularly original and uncommon aesthetic detail.
