Vintage champagne cooler in solid oak with a metal hoop and a zinc-lined inner bucket, dating to 1930–1940, from France, in excellent condition and measuring 22 cm high, 20 cm in diameter and 36 cm wide with handles.

Beautiful solid oak wine-/champagne cooler, with a riveted metal hoop and an inner metal bucket, made for Bollinger champagne in Aÿ.
The champagne house was founded in 1829 in the town of Aÿ.
The founders, Hennequin de Villermont, Paul Renaudin and Jacques Bollinger, laid the foundation for a champagne brand that quickly made a name for itself with outstanding quality and traditional craftsmanship.
Jacques Bollinger, a young and dynamic entrepreneur, guided the house through its early years and established Bollinger as one of the leading champagne houses in the region.
From the beginning, the name Bollinger stood for quality.
The cooler is in very good condition and is still perfectly usable!
These coolers/buckets were often used by the Bollinger house for promotional activities.
