Longwy, France – round bonbonnière with decor D.188 “Fleurs de Pommier”

Charming enameled earthenware box from Longwy (France),
issued in the well-known decor D.188 “Fleurs de Pommier”.
The lid and the sides are richly decorated with white and pink apple blossoms,
green leaves and brown branches on a bright cobalt blue background,
finished in the characteristic Longwy technique with black contour lines.

The bottom bears the gray factory stamp LONGWY FRANCE with the decor number D.188.

Diameter: 9 cm
Height: 4 cm

Good vintage condition with normal signs of use and age.
Light wear to the rim and interior, appropriate to age and use.
No visible cracks or restorations.
