Philips - Lamp - Plastic, Glass - Infrared heat lamp

Beautiful original Philips infrared lamp, a classic therapeutic lamp from the 1970s or 1980s. This is an authentic piece of vintage medical/wellness equipment that still functions.

The lamp consists of a compact red infrared element in a black metal cylindrical housing with characteristic ventilation slits for heat dissipation. The housing is solidly finished and shows fine signs of aging that match its age. The lamp rests on a simple but practical white plastic footplate, which keeps it stable and makes the whole thing easily movable.

The original black power cord is still present, and the lamp is functional – the infrared element glows as it should. These were popular devices at the time for physio-therapy, muscle warming, and relief of pain and stiffness.
