​A beautiful vintage tobacco pipe crafted by the well-known Belgian manufacturer Hilson. This pipe belongs to the classic "Antic" series, highly regarded for its warm finish and traditional craftsmanship.
​Markings & Identification
​Left Side of Shank: Stamped with the "Hilson" script logo over the series name "ANTIC".
​Right Side of Shank: Stamped with "SELECTED BRIAR" and the shape number "220".
​Bottom/Underside of Shank: Clearly stamped with "MADE IN BELGIUM".
​Stem: Features the classic Hilson "H" logo inlay on the side of the mouthpiece.
​Design & Shape
​Shape 220: A traditional full-bent or half-bent Billiard/Egg variant. It features a deep, robust bowl paired with a comfortable curved saddle stem, providing a perfectly balanced feel in the hand or clenches.
​Made from quality Selected Briar with a smooth finish that highlights a lovely, natural wood grain structure.
​Condition
​Bowl & Rim: The briar is in good vintage shape with a rich patina. The rim shows minor darkening and light wear from regular, honest use, but has no structural damage or cracks.
​Stem: The original vulcanite mouthpiece shows light surface oxidation (typical for its age) and minor tooth marks near the lip, but maintains a solid, tight fit.
