Vintage Minakari Plate - Copper - 21st century

Splendid and authentic Mid‑Eastern decorative plate (second half of the 20th century) made with the traditional artisanal technique "Minakari" (firing enamel on a copper base), originating from the famous city of Isfahan (Persia). Main features: Material: Copper base finely worked and hand‑enamelled. Colors: A vibrant lapis lazuli blue enriched with dense geometric and floral symmetric motifs (arabesques) in white, black and copper tones. Details: Finely lobed/wavy edge that gives the piece dynamism and refinement. Signature/Brand: On the back is present the artisan's original mark/signature incised under the protective enamel of the base. Dimensions: Diameter about 20 cm. Use: Perfect as a wall plate (it's prepared to be hung), decorative centerpiece or refined trinket dish. Object condition (Maximum transparency): The item is vintage and retains its chromatic charm intact. As visible in the photograph, it shows on the upper edge a lack of enamel due to time, with partial and natural oxidation of the underlying copper.
