Description from the seller
Vintage porcelain jewelry boxes are decorated in the classic Rococo or Limoges style, with characteristic gold details and embossed feet.
The lid and sides depict romantic Renaissance scenes (often inspired by the works of the French painter Fragonard), representing a couple in love. They have a distinctive polygonal shape with a wavy finish on the lid, as well as an elegant gold handle on the top.
These boxes are used for storing jewelry, as decorative stands in bedroom dressing rooms, or as collectible trinkets.
The items are vintage pieces from the 20th century, with most similar sets being manufactured mainly between the 1950s and 1970s.
