​Description
​An impressive and extremely imposing Art Nouveau style lamp with a height of no less than 1 meter. The base consists of a very heavy and detailed cast bronze sculpture, combined with a richly decorated Tiffany-style stained glass shade.
​The Bronze Sculpture:
The base is formed by an elegant and classically shaped figure of a young woman in flowing robes. In one hand she holds a dish with flowers, while her other hand rests on a lyre (antique string instrument). The statue is beautifully signed on the back with "L. & F. Moreau", the famous artist duo (Louis and François Moreau) who worked in France around the turn of the century (ca. 1900).
​The metal feels cold, is completely non-magnetic and has a stunning, deep-dark bronze patina with beautiful accents. Thanks to its massive weight of 15.5 kg, the lamp is extremely stable.
​The Shade (Tiffany-style):
The lamp is equipped with a very large, semicircular Tiffany-style shade with a diameter of 54 cm. The mosaic of real stained glass shows an elegant floral pattern in harmonious tones of blue, green, pink and white. When the lamp (equipped with two light sources) is lit, it provides a fantastic warm and diffused play of light that immediately adds atmosphere to any room.
