Description from the seller
Hand-forged pan from a private collection in Tungelroy, Limburg in the Netherlands.
Probably from the period 1880-1900.
Perfectly suitable as a wine- champagne cooler.
The pan has a very lived-in look with dents all around, which adds extra character.
In the bottom, during a repair, a piece of red copper was riveted/soldered on, which I consider the finest feature of this pan. It should last another 100 years.
The handles are made of wrought iron and are also riveted.
The height of the cooler without the handles is 15 cm.
So if you truly want a distinctive cooler for your party, this is for you.
This lot has been carefully cleaned and will be packaged with care, sent by registered and insured mail (with Track & Trace code so you can follow the shipment). Pickup in (Ridderkerk- Zuid Holland) is also possible. I have delicious hand-ground coffee.
