Condition, Deterioration and Alterations

General Conditions:
The item presents itself in excellent vintage condition, preserving the original structural integrity. No modern restoration interventions have been carried out, thus preserving the precious historical patina sought after by collectors.

Damage and Signs of Wear:
• Exterior (Monogram Canvas): The canvas is intact and shows no cuts or holes. There are faint superficial marks consistent with use and the piece's age.

• Hardware (Brass): The brass shows natural surface oxidation (dark patina). No major dents on the lock or the corner parts.

• Leather (Handle and Edge): The natural vacchetta of the handle has taken on a dark honey tone. There are signs of rubbing and small superficial cracks due to time, but the leather remains solid.

• Interior: The Vuittonite lining is clean and free of unpleasant odors. There are small scattered brown stains and light signs of lining detachment near the inner edges (physiological for vintage glues), which do not impair use.
Restorations and Alterations:

• Restorations: No restorations performed. The piece is completely original in every part.

• Alterations: There are no structural alterations. Noted only the absence of the removable inner tray and the original key. No initials painted or removed.
