This gracefully organically shaped Art Nouveau vase with a whiplash handle is from the former production of Thulin. It is characterized by an iridescent decoration with a flame-like pattern ... decoration name 'Airain'.
This factory was a master in applying the dripping glaze technique ... I know of no other pottery company across Europe that was as proficient in this.

Deze sierlijk organisch vormgegeven art nouveau-vaas met zweepslag-handvat  is afkomstig uit de voormalige productie van Thulin. Ze kenmerkt zich door een iriserend decor met vlammend patroon ... decornaam 'Airain'.
Deze fabriek was een meester in de toepassing van de druipglazuur-techniek ... ik ken geen enkel ander aardewerk-bedrijf over heel Europa die hierin even kundig was.
