Kaweco Dia 125 fountain pen in black celluloid with gold-plated crown and tail bands, 12.30 cm long, featuring a fine, flexible 14K gold nib and piston filler in excellent condition.

The origin of the brand Kaweco can be traced back to 1883. It is the most important pen factory near Heidelberg and the second oldest ink pen brand in Germany, second only to Soennecken Songen.
After changing owners in 1899, it was renamed “Heidelberger Federh" alterfabrik Koch, Weber & Compagnie" became the origin of the KAWECO brand.
The Dia 125 model is very rare nowadays. The crown and the tail are covered with golden bands with nice leaves engraving, which is noble and dignified without losing the calm and solemnity of German pens.
It is a classic pen that is worth collecting.
