Grand 4/4 French violin from the old Mirecourt, orange-colored, with the iron stamp "SAUNIER" dating to around 1880, and measuring 36.4 cm in length with a back carved from a single piece of maple.

Features: - rare back in a single piece of highly figured maple
- on the heel: iron stamp "SAUNIER"
- the pegs and the fingerboard are ebony
- the tailpiece with its adjustable tuners is aluminum
- it has been perfectly restored, including the small crack under the right f-hole (visible in the last photo)
It is in excellent condition and ready to play. It has a defined and precise sound, especially powerful and clear.
