Beautiful and authentic brass kettle from the Minangkabau people of West Sumatra, Indonesia. This type of vessel was traditionally used for the ritual washing of the hands before and after meals.
With an elevated, scalloped foot and decorative geometric relief bands.
Elegant spout, movable handle, and the original lid with a securing chain.
Nice, dark patina that emphasizes its age and authenticity.
