well-seasoned vintage estate tobacco pipe by Ropp, from their Régence line — one of the brand's quality mid-range series. The bowl is crafted from smooth briar in a classic straight billiard shape, displaying a rich warm chestnut-brown tone with attractive natural grain and bird's-eye patterning visible across the bowl. The briar has developed a deep, characterful patina from years of use, giving it a beautiful lived-in warmth.
The shank is stamped with the iconic Ropp oval logo and "Régence" in clear impressed lettering. The pipe connects to a tapered vulcanite stem which shows age-appropriate wear and slight oxidation at the tip, consistent with a genuine estate piece.
