Description from the seller
Beautiful set consisting of a small frying pan (poêlon) with a handle, a glazed earthenware plate, and an ashtray made by the famous ceramist Robert Picault in Vallauris.
These three pieces perfectly illustrate Picault's iconic style, with their hand-painted graphic decoration in copper-green and brown tones on a white background, inspired by Mediterranean tradition. From the late 1940s, Robert Picault revolutionized Vallauris utilitarian ceramics with his concept « from the kitchen to the table », combining functionality and aesthetics.
