A beautifully executed heavy cast bronze wall plaque dating from the 1910s, featuring an elegant stylised floral composition that bridges the late Art Nouveau and early Art Deco periods. The openwork design with flowers, seed pods and broad leaves creates a striking interplay of light and shadow, while the original warm bronze patina with subtle verdigris highlights enhances its authentic character.
This architectural ornament was salvaged from an historic townhouse in the old city centre of Delft, Netherlands. Its substantial weight, crisp casting and refined botanical design make it an exceptional decorative object for both classic and contemporary interiors.
Architectural bronze ornamentation became increasingly popular during the 1910s, when Art Deco designers combined natural motifs with cleaner, more symmetrical forms. Pieces such as this were often commissioned for prestigious residences and public buildings, reflecting the high level of craftsmanship characteristic of the period.

Very good antique condition with an attractive original patina, consistent with 100+ years of age. Four mounting points are present.
