This poster is propaganda against USSR aggression and four other Warsaw Pact members against Czechoslovakia in 1968, specifically targeting the USSR soldier. This poster is only one of a rainbow of posters with very strong graphic designs which all use psychological warfare in combination with very well-known graphic images of communist history.
This method—from within the communist ideology, portraying the wrong mindset of contemporary Moscow leaders—has worked so well that the first wave of Russian soldiers was replaced because of it.
